Independent legislator, Er Rasheed, had protested his denteion in J&K Legislature forcing govt to reconsideer its decision to book Sahil under PSA. Rasheed had produced Date of Birth certificate of Sahil before Speaker LA which proved that Sahil was a minor. On Monday, Chief Minster Mehbooba Mufti had announced that her govt would release Sahil.
Meanwhile Spokesperson of Rasheed’s AIP, Inam un Nabi, told late tuesday night that Sahil was received by his mother, MLA Langate, Er Rasheed and himslef at Kotbalwal Jail Jammu on early this evening.
